Scrabble Latin

Scrabble Latin from John Adams takes the world's favourite word game back to the classics. The letter distribution and tile values have been reworked for Latin, so the bag rewards the endings and letter patterns of the language rather than English habits. It is made for Latin students, classicists and teachers, and for family gamers who fancy a fresh twist on a familiar board. With rules in four languages, it works just as well in a classroom as at home. Key details: • Players: 2-4 • Age: 10+ • Play time: approx. 90 minutes • Contents: 1 linen-hinged playing board, 100 wooden letter tiles, 4 wooden tile racks and 1 cotton tile bag • Rulebook: Latin, English, French and German • Box: 36.5 x 18.6 x 3 cm • Publisher: John Adams Each turn you draw wooden tiles, form a Latin word that links to what is already on the board and score by letter value and premium squares.
