CATAN Seafarers Expansion 6th Edition

CATAN Seafarers Expansion 6th Edition pushes the island out into open water, adding ships, uncharted islands and nine scenarios to explore. Instead of roads alone you build shipping routes, linking distant land and opening trade lines your rivals have not thought of yet. Built for existing CATAN owners who want more map and more decisions. This is an expansion and the CATAN base game is required to play. Key details: • Players: 3-4 (requires the CATAN base game) • Age: 10+ • Play time: 60-120 minutes • Publisher: Asmodee • Contents: 30 hex tiles for new islands and water, 6 frame pieces, 10 number discs, 94 tokens, 19 scenario markers, 10 port tokens, 4 player aids, 60 wooden ships, 1 pirate ship, 5 Wonders of CATAN tiles and a rulebook • Nine scenarios with different map layouts and goals • Language: English A typical game has you weighing a safe inland settlement against a risky hop across the water to claim a gold-yielding island first. The pirate ship blocks sea routes the way the robber blocks hexes, so the coast is never entirely safe.
