Message in a Bottle

Message in a Bottle is a fast word game with a very simple hook: shake the bottle, look at the letters that land face up, and be first to shout a word that uses all of them. Get it right and you take a diamond, get it wrong and you may hand treasure back. Ideal for family gatherings, mixed-age tables and casual game nights where nobody wants to learn a rulebook first. Key details: • Players: 2-6 • Age: 8+ • Play time: around 10-15 minutes • Publisher: Asmodee • Contents: 1 bottle with 4 letter dice, 1 effect die, 45 diamond tokens and a rulebook • Optional effect die adds extra restrictions for harder rounds • Language: English Rounds last seconds. The bottle gets shaken, four letters show, and everyone scrambles at once. Bring in the effect die and the same letters suddenly need a word of a certain length or type, which levels things out when adults play against children. Buy Message in a Bottle online from Cookes Games and keep a quick word game in the cupboard for visitors.
