Blokus

Blokus is an award-winning abstract strategy game of coloured tile placement. Each player has 21 uniquely shaped pieces and takes turns laying them on the board to claim territory, with one simple catch: every new piece must touch another of your own colour, and only at the corners. The rule takes seconds to learn and keeps the whole game interesting. A family favourite for ages seven and up, and a good pick for anyone who enjoys spatial puzzles and quick, tactical play. Key details: • Players: 2-4 • Age: 7+ • Play time: 20-30 minutes • Strategy weight: light • Contents: 1 game board, 84 coloured pieces (21 per player), instruction manual Early turns are about spreading outwards from your starting corner; later ones become a tense battle to squeeze pieces into gaps while blocking your opponents. The player who claims the most territory wins, so every piece left unplayed at the end is a missed opportunity. Buy Blokus online from Cookes Games.
